Senior Account Manager - Employee Benefits

Reports to Director of Account Management. Part of the business-to-business marketing, sales, and account management team focusing on corporate clients. Coordinates activities with colleagues across product development, marketing, sales, implementation, account management, customer service, operations, compliance, finance, and other key internal stakeholders.

Position Overview:

Responsible for serving as the primary representative and liaison for select key corporate clients, developing and maintaining favorable relationships that meet the strategic objectives of both our client and our division. This position is responsible for developing annual client renewal and retention strategies, cross-selling and up-selling opportunities, and achieving long-term key client satisfaction and growth.

Must be familiar with a variety of health care, health insurance, and health promotion concepts and trends. Must be able to represent client and a complex array of client’s Health Solutions products and services including health benefits administration, claims processing, physician networks, consumer driven health plans, pharmacy benefit services, health risk assessments, lifestyle management, demand management, disease management and case management programs and tools.

Must be able to work with complex large accounts and all levels of key decision-makers both externally and internally to meet client and division needs. Must be able to effectively manage time and priorities across a growing stable of select key clients both regional and national including employers, member organizations, and consultants.


Ø       Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Management, Healthcare, Human Resources or Benefits preferred.

Ø       Ten years experience in business-to-business account management, client service, or sales within the health care, health promotion, or health insurance industry preferred.

Job Status: Full Time - Position can be virtual with some visits to office when necessary

Compensation: $70 - $90,000
