Health & Welfare Plan Manager - New Jersey

 

Our client, a NJ-based large employer, is conducting a search for a Health & Welfare Plan Manager. This is a bonus eligible mid-level management opportunity. This position will have 3 direct reports.

 

Responsilbities include but not limited to the analysis, evaluation, implementation, and all aspects of administration of corporate health and welfare benefit plans (medical, dental, Rx, life insurance, LTD, etc.), including compliance, audits, appeals and plan documents.

 

The ideal Candidate will have:

 

 

Ø   7-10 years of experience with health and welfare plans.

 

Ø   Bachelor's degree or 8 years relevant work experience.

 

Ø   Thorough knowledge of benefit plan regulations, ERISA, HIPAA, IRS, DOL, SOX, PPACA, social security and tax laws.

 

Ø   Experience with third-party vendor management and interaction.

 

Ø   Professional designation (CEBS, CBP or SHRM)

 

Ø   Experience with retirement plans (defined benefit and defined contribution)

 

Ø   MBA

 

Competitive salary commensurate with experience
